Exciting Changes Coming to Our Shared Home
Something wonderful is happening around our building this summer, and we want to make sure you're in the loop — and in on the celebration.
Our partners at KUO are investing in some meaningful improvements to the space we share, and the results are going to be felt by everyone who walks through our doors. Here's a look at what's coming:
A new green space in the parking lot. The parking lot off Main Street is getting a transformation. A new green space is being created there — a welcoming, living addition to our corner of the neighborhood. We can't wait to see it take shape.
A fresh parking lot. Speaking of the parking lot, this summer it will be fully repaved and repainted. Smooth pavement, crisp lines — it's one of those updates that makes everything feel a little more put-together.
Cool air where it counts. If you've noticed the gym or sanctuary feeling a bit warmer than comfortable, relief is on the way. Air conditioning repairs are underway in both spaces, so we can gather, worship, and move without the summer heat slowing us down.
A new security system. New digital door locks and an updated security system are being installed throughout the building. These upgrades are a meaningful investment in making our shared space safer and more secure for everyone who uses it.
All of this is a reminder of what a genuine partnership we have with KUO, and how much that partnership benefits our congregation and our community.
Speaking of which — a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who has volunteered your time and energy alongside KUO. The hours you have given are not small things. They are acts of love, and they make a real difference. We are so proud to be a congregation that shows up.
