Christianity is not easily summed up in a few words. At the core of the Christian tradition is love. God loved the world so profoundly that God sent Jesus to walk among us and teach humanity about love. All compassion, kindness, and hope grow from the love that God holds for creation. Humans spend a lifetime living in the love of God and is one chooses, allows that love to shape our words and actions. Following Jesus is not about following a list of regulations, but rather a relationship based on love and grace. You are loved for who you are and who for who you are becoming. Following Jesus is lived out as we spend our days loving God, loving self and loving others. Any moment and every moment is the perfect time to take the first step in accepting the love that God holds for you. A simple prayer to begin the relationship is , "Open my heart to your love, Jesus." If you would like to speak to a pastor concerning the Christian faith tradition, please contact, Rev.
