Like most churches Meridian Street holds a deep commitment to care for the emotional and spiritual needs of the congregation. Responding to those needs come in a variety of ways.

Often the first line of help comes from our pastors addressing immediate needs such as hospital stays and crisis situations but there are also those times when people seek to meet for consultation or counseling or for the comfort of a friendly ear in a confidential environment.

In addition to the pastors our staff includes a Parish Visitor who extends the reach of our care ministry with extensive follow up for those who are sick, home visitation of our membership and friends, and organized gatherings of people of all ages and circumstances that enjoy and benefit from fellowship times together.
