Whether it's a friend, a family member, or neighbor, we all know someone who has been touched by cancer. That's why Meridian Street is once again participating in Relay For Life® on May 10-11. It brings together the whole community and helps raise funds for the fight against cancer.

During the Washington Township Relay, teams will gather at the North Central campus and take turns walking or running laps on the track. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times during the 24-hour event. A Luminaria Ceremony honors those who have fought the disease, and luminaries can be purchased in honor or in memory of someone who has been touched by cancer. They will be sold in Fellowship Hall in the coming weeks. If you are unable to participate but would like to contribute, please send your donation to the church marked Relay for Life® or go to: http://main.acsevents/org/goto.msumc For more information, contact Phil and Mary Sue McAlister at 255-4069 or mcalister7353@sbcglobal.net or call Tony Strong at 291-6469.
