Reverend Anne Rosebrock is a native of Indiana who grew up in the Meridian Street United Methodist Church.   Anne went to seminary in Pasadena, California and served United Methodist Churches in the Los Angeles area and then in Wichita, Kansas before returning to Indianapolis in 2005.  In January 2006 Anne joined the staff of Meridian Street as Executive Pastor, overseeing program ministry as well as particiating in teaching and preaching.  Anne's appointment as Senior Pastor for Meridian Street was effective July 1, 2007.  You can reach Anne at 317-253-3237 ext. 16 or arosebrock@msumc.org. 

croberts2Chris began his ministry at Meridian Street on July 1, 2009.  A native of Cincinnati, Chris is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and received his Master of Divinity from United Thiological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.  He is an elder in the Indiana Conference and has served the conference as well as the United Methodist Church's general boards and agencies in various capacities.  Chris and his wife, Renee, have four lovely children: Bethany, Kennedy, Wesley, and Lily.  Chris can be reached at croberts@msumc.org or 253-3237, ext. 20.

Reverend Kevin Reed joined the Meridian Street staff as associate pastor in July, 2007. He is a native of Indiana, growing up in Richmond. Kevin attended Franklin College of Indiana, graduating with a B.A. in Elementary Education. In May, 2007 he received his Masters of Divinity Degree from Methodist Theological School in Ohio. Kevin has also served as the pastor of South Vernon UMC in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Kevin can be reached at 317-253-3237 ext. 25 or kreed@msumc.org.

IMG_0002Elisa graduated from Butler University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  After a brief career in retail, she joined the staff of Meridian Street Church as a teacher in the Children's Day In program.  She was Co-Director for sixteen of her more than twenty years with CDI.  Elisa is now the Director of Children's Education and oversees all eductional programs for the children of the church through fifth grade excluding the CDI programs.  She is a past member of  the Advisory Board for the Indianapolis Children's Guardian Home and is currently on the Board for the Care for Kids Foundation.  Elisa can be reached at 253-3237 ext. 30 or edeer@msumc.org

Marsha is a graduate of St. Mary-of-the-Woods College with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Accounting.  In 2001 she obtained her C.F.R.M. from the The Fund Raising School at the IU School of Philanthropy.  Marsha joined the staff of Meridian Street in 2003.  She can be reached at 317. 253.3237 ext 22, or mkuntz@msumc.org

Beth directs our Gospel Ringers for children in grades three through six.  She has been attending MSUMC since she was a student at Butler University.  Beth has a master's degree in elementary education and currently teaches math at The Orchard School.  She was one of the founding members of the Chancel Bells 15 years ago.  She also enjoys solo and ensemble ringing. 

Peggy graduated from Central Methodist College in 1983 with a degree in Vocal and Piano Performance.  She served as Director of Music, Youth and Education of a Methodist Church in Salem, Mo before attending Graduate School in Boulder, Co.  She has since served in Methodist churches in Colorado, Iowa, and Indiana.    Peggy can be reached at 253-3237 ext. 29 or pmacke@msumc.org

 

Joan Mason was born and raised in California and has enjoyed living in Indiana since she married in 1999.  Joan has a background in sales and her various work endeavors have all been service and people oriented.  Joan has been with Meridian Street since the Spring of 2002.  You can reach Joan in the office at 253-3237 ext. 15 or via email at jmason@msumc.org.

David is a lifelong Indianapolis resident and his family roots go back 86 years at Meridian Street United Methodist Church. Graduating from Hanover College (’62) with a BA in Zoology and Chemistry, he received an MA in Botany from Miami University, Oxford Ohio (’64). David taught biology, botany, and horticulture at Broad Ripple High School, retiring in 2000 after thirty-six years of teaching.
 
David has served as wedding coordinator at Meridian Street since 1991, guiding nearly five hundred couples through the marriage preparation process. He values his experiences and seeks to ensure a special wedding experience for all couples.  David can be reached by phone at 317-253-3237 or e-mail at dotto@msumc.org

A native of Kansas, Dorothy studied organ at Southwestern University and then came to Indianapolis to study piano and organ at the Jordan College of Music (now Butler University).  Dorothy was the organist at Meridian Street for more than 60 years, bringing a level of excellence and dedication that was amazing.  As an organist, Mrs. Scott has been involved with the local, regional and national organization of the American Guild of Organists (AGO).  With the Indianapolis Chapter, Sigma Alpha Iota, she has served as Dean, a distinguished recognition of her talents as an organist.  Dorothy has also received their Sword of Honor and Rose of Honor for performance.  Dorothy enjoys traveling the globe, especially to visit the churches and cathedrals that house some of the great organs of the world.

Dorothy retired February 14, 2010.

Christy graduated from Indiana University with a dual BS degree in early childhood and primary education.  Christy was promoted to director of CDI in 2007.  Her professional experience includes eight years teaching in the Warren Township Schools in preschool, kindergarten, first and second grade.  Christy has also completed graduate work in the areas of reading recovery, cognitive coaching and reading comprehension.  Christy can be reached at 253-0472 or cwhaley@msumc.org

IMG_0003We are pleased to welcome Ms. Raina Wood on staff at Meridian Street. Raina comes to us from Church Street United Methodist in Knoxville, Tennessee where she was the Organist / Music Associate for 13 years.

Raina grew up in Ashville, North Carolina and attended Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music in organ and piano performance. Raina went on to earn her Master of Sacred Music in organ performance from Emory University in Atlanta.  Raina is also an accomplished violinist and enjoys ballet.
