Those who worship at Meridian Street find our services traditional in approach yet contemporary in relevance. We seek to nourish the heart and challenge the head. Though music, prayer, scripture, and sermon people engage in connecting to the spirit of our mission statement which is to “live a faith for today in fellowship and service.”

There are two Sunday morning services in the church Sanctuary at 9:00 and 10:30. Along with open hands and hearts to all we have such helps as accessibility for the handicap and listening devices for the hearing impaired. Nursery and childcare is provided all morning as well as opportunities for children to learn about and experience worship at their age level.

We also offer a mid-week service in the Chapel called “Morning at Meridian.” This short 15 minute devotion time takes place every Wednesday at 7:30 and is led by one of our pastors. It is designed to lift the spirit and offer encouragement. Students and those on the way to work are among the people that look forward to this service each week.

Please feel welcome and invited to use these services as a way to enhance your spiritual journey in an environment that builds community and seeks communion with our God.
All of our Sunday School classes are held in the Education wing on the lower level.  You may enter from the back parking lot through the Preschool Entrance next to the playground.

Birth to Three - Care for our Lambs is in rooms 101 and 103 from 8:45 to 11:45.

Preschool - Our Little Disciples Sunday school class meets in room 105 at 9:00 and 10:30.

Kindergarten through Fifth Grade - Our Disciple Kids start Sunday mornings at 10:15 in Fellowship Hall for music and songs. We then go as a group to the sanctuary for the beginning of worship and leave for Sunday School classes after the children’s message.  These classes are by grade level in rooms 102, 104, and 107.  Children may also choose to attend the beginning of the 10:30 service with their family and then leave with the group.

At the 9:00 service, Disciple Kids attend worship with their families. Generally the second Sunday of each month is Family Sunday when the children’s choirs participate and the Disciple Kids remain in worship for the entire service at 9:00 and 10:30. Worship activity bags and pew pals are available just outside the sanctuary doors for these services.
